Payment Terms 


SCHOOL DISTRICTS
School District purchases are usually by purchase order. A copy of the original purchase order must be sent to us to sales@kaeden.com or to PO Box 16190, Rocky River, OH 44116 before the order will be processed. Payment terms are net 30 days. All school orders are billed at the time of shipment.

INDIVIDUALS
All individual orders must be prepaid by check or credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

SALES TAX
Sales Tax will be applied to all nonexempt orders in all states and localities as required by law (OH, CA, NY, MO, NJ). Tax exempt certificates will be requested  from all customers to keep on file. Tax exemption is determined by shipping destination in NJ, NY, CA, MO, and OH, therefore all orders shipping to a residential address will be charged sales tax. Due to federal and state regulations, no exceptions can be made on this policy.

Shipping and Handling

Every effort is made to ship orders within 10 days of receipt for stock titles and 30 days for non-Kaeden titles. The average shipping speed for standard orders is 5-8 business days.

Out of Stock Items

Occasionally, due to high demand, we may be temporarily out of a title in our warehouse. These titles will be shown as a back order. Books will be invoiced and shipped as soon as they are received into our warehouse, free of charge.

Substitutions

Occasionally, publishers take books out of print. When that happens, we reserve the right to make substitutions in our collections and special programs. We will make every effort to provide a book which is similar in reading difficulty level to the title being replaced.

 

Return and Exchange Policy


Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of the sales date. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, please contact us at sales@kaeden.com to discuss the matter.

To return an item, please email our Customer Service department at customerservice@kaeden.com or call us at 1.800.890.7323 for authorization and instructions. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Collections containing non-Kaeden titles, custom libraries, and gift cards are not eligible for returns.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the return is approved, orders returned within 30 days are eligible for refund to their original method of payment within 7 business days. Orders returned after 30 days are eligible for a credit for use on a future Kaeden Publishing purchase minus a 10% restocking fee.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund within 7 business days, check with your original method of payment. Most banks and credit card companies require some time to process a refund before it is officially posted. Contact your bank or credit card company to verify that the refund is processing.

If you have verified the refund status with your financial institution and still have not received your refund, please contact us at customerservice@kaeden.com.


Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@kaeden.com.

Shipping
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
